    I assume it still freezes on the Apple logo after a hard reset of the device?  To do this, press and hold both the Select/Center and Menu buttons together long enough for Apple logo to appear.

     

    Can you try and connect it to iTunes so that you can restore it to factory settings?

    I am having the same proble, I connect to iTunes and restore to factory settings, and turn the phone on, but only the apple logo appears therfore I can't unlock the SIM.

    What to do??

    i have done this and many of other suggestions.. my phone has been down for 2 weeks and still nothing.. it cannot finish the itunes restore because the phone keeps crashing after the apple logo is displayed
