Can I upgrade my OS X 10.5.8 to10.6.8? I down loaded iTunes 10.7 for my upgraded iPhone which will not now work on the older iTunes.

Hi, I have Mac OS X 10.5.8. I updated my iPhone to IOS 6. This upgrade required me to upgrade iTunes to 10.7 because the iPhone would not work on the older version I had. However, when I downloaded iTunes 10.7 it would not install because I only had Mac OS 10.5.8. Can I upgrade my operating system so that I can install the new iTunes and ultimately, use my iPhone. Thank you, Derek

iPhone 3GS (8GB), iOS 6

Click here and install the software. If it doesn't work and you have an Intel Mac, phone the online Apple Store and order a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD.
