i have my mac os x 10.6.3 but want to make it 10.7.3

hi

i have a question about my macbook pro i have installed a few days ago a new cd because i was facing some problems but now i need to update my laptop because i need it to be the 10.7.3 instead of 10.6.3. i use to have my mac 10.7.3 so i need to have it back to that level.

i also don't have the app store in the dock i was wondering if i could get some feed back. if there is any new information that is good for my macbook pro.

it also asks me for the update of 10.6.8 but it only downloaded 2% and then it stops.

You need to be at OS X 10.6.6 to get the app store. If Software Update isn't working, download the combo 10.68 update from here. Use Disk Utility to repair permissions before applying the combo update, then after installing it, repair permissions again. The combo update provides all update to 10.6, so after applying it, you'll be at 10.6.8 and will have the app store application.

If you previously downloaded 10.7 from the App store, sign in with your apple ID and you should see it on your purchases list.
