anyone have a work around for the icloud/windows vista/outlook sync issue?

my pc is no longer syncing with icloud, can't do a hard sync, icloud control panel keeps asking to repair, which solves nothing. all my contacs and calendars are now in the cloud and no longer on my pc. I
