Having problems with an Epson Workforce 845 printer. A MBP running OS 10.8.2 cannot recognize the printer on a wireless network, yet a iMac running OS 10.6.8 can recognized the printer. Both computers had the Epson printer driver downloaded from the Epson website. Per the website, the downloaded drivers were appropriate for each OS version. Still waiting to hear from Epson support. Any suggestions?

Issue resolved. Can now use Epson Workforce 845 printer with MBP (OS 10.8.2)
So what resolved the issue? I need to put a note in my database if this problem, with this printer, surfaces again.
Normally when folks have a problem with a particular printer, I refer them to the Apple version of the print drivers from a printer manufacturer and then check to see if the printer is on the Apple supported printer site.
So how did you fix your problem?

Re-stalled the Epson printer update. Rebooted the MBP. Then the printer could be recognized on the wireless network.
I have the same question but with respect to 10.9 I downloaded Maverick before realizing it did not support my Workforce 845 scanner driver.
