iPod touch 4th gen loses audio. Why?

Hi, I have an iPod Touch 4th generation. I have some movies in iTunes which play fine (both Audio and Video). However when synced to iPod the audio track is lost. This only applies to a group of videos which have subtitles, but all others movies work fine. Any ideas welcome
