How can I restore only Contacts, Messages and Notes from my iPhone4 to new iPhone5 and to be able to keep current iPhone5 setting?

I have iPhone 4 and I want to transfer Notes, Contacts (it was partially done in the ATT store. For some reason not all data was transferred) and Messages to a new iPhone5 while keeping new setting. Restoring fromiPhone 4 back up works but at the same time it it completely changes phone's settings. I don't want to go this route as I used to have hardware problems with iPhone 4 and I don't want to "transfer" old issues to my new phone.
