I now have my 08 Mini Cooper and my desk phone UCS System that when i put the other devices in pair mode - the iPhone 5 simply wont find it. It continues to have the "Thinking" radius turning when in bluetooth interface in phone but never shows the available list of bluetooth devices that are confirmed to be in discovery mode.
Please help.

The iPods only has a a few profiles compared to other devices and thus the iPhone can't par with that many devices. See the following for the BT profiles supported by the iPhone.

I have a exactly same issue. Since I have upgraded my phone to iPhone5, it won't discover with my car's Bluetooth as I have Subaru XV. But it's perfect when I was using iPhone4s. Can someone help me please?
