Does the user have the access permissions to the Calendar servuce on the server itself running the Calendar service?

If you have a Master - Replica network the Replica should receive the changes almost instantaneously in my experience.

Its a master od.

He does have access. I did figure out that if you reset the password and select user must change at first login that they need to AFP or login to a desktop before ical will let them utilize the service.
