"UL" is a testing organization, not a single standard. So it depends on what "UL" you're referring to. The AC adapter is Ul certified, if that's what you're referring to. Otherwise, please clarify what specific standard or standards you're asking about.

In the front words, I want to talk about UL certification. As your said, The AC adapter is UL certified. It's good. What about iPad? Is it UL certified, too?
I don't know what certification from the UL would apply to a low-voltage device like the iPad. Most UL certifications for electrical devices apply to products that use potentially dangerous levels of current as in the case of the AC adapter.
