Why can i not download skype from the internet?

I can't download it. I just click the download skype free link on the skype website and it doesn't download. Please help!

Had the same issue, just managed to solve it! Go to settings - general - restrictions -installing apps - on. Then go to App Store and search for Skype. Download from there. You should have an apple ID.

Try temporarily disabling anti virus software if installed.

Little Snitch, Net Nanny, or Hands Off installed?
