Q: Shortcut for not saving document

Hate it when certain companies remove a shortcut that have been used for years...!

I'm talking about the new (introduced in Lion) dialogue window when closing a new document in Pages.

Earlier, you could hit COM+D (as in Don't save), but now this doesn't work!

So, what shortcut will not save a document in this dialogue box?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), 120 GB SSD, 750 GB HDD, 8 GB RAM

I still miss ⌘ D although it does still work in some applications. Use ⌘ + delete (key) instead.

It's the same key, it's just named differently on different keyboards. Just like the Option/alt key has both words on my US Apple keyboard but doesn't on a PC keyboard or many other language-specific keyboards.

I hate to be a wise-***, but it's not the same key.

The backspace key deletes the character to the left of the cursor, while the delete key will delete the character to the right of the cursor.

Backspace have an arrow that points to the left on it, and the delete key have the word "delete" on it (on a full sized keyobard - on a mini sized keyobard it's fn+Backspace).

    Or did I misunderstood you?

As I said, it has to do with different localizations as well as the difference between Apple keyboards & PC keyboards. I try very hard to take into consideration that we all don't come from the same place, speak the same languages or use the same equipment. Check out all of the localizations on this web page. And here is a better picture I got some time ago showing a US Mac keyboard layout.
