How do I install the facebook app on my iphone 3g on ios 4.2.1 , Itsays in need ios 4.3 but itunes says there is no update.

Sorry, but you will not be able to download the app. The current version of the Facebook app requires a newer version of iOS than your iPhone 3G will run. You'll have to use the web-based version of Facebook.

I had the same problem myself. Sorted now though!!! Go to apple App. Go on to categories, social networking, paid apps, ( it's 69p), the 14th app as of 22/11/12 , it's a brown app Facebook for iPhone 3.1.3. X
