Q: Please help

my computer has OSX Mountain Lion and I have an apple tv but Air Play Mirroring won't work

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2010), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

    If your computer is Mid 2010 as your profile suggests then it's not compatible with Airplay mirroring.

     

    Only these models will work as it requires tech in the newer chip for video encoding

     

    • iMac (Mid 2011 or newer)
    • Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer)
    • MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer)
    • MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer)

     

    You can try airrparrot, which does it in software.
