how to text someone who doesn't have an iphone ?

iPhone offers iMessage, but also supports regular SMS if such is properly provisioned on your account. Nothing to worry about. Send all the SMS's you like.

You can text anybody! IF the other party has an iphone as well, you have the added bonus that your sms becomes an iMessage and is not counted towards your sms allowances (if you have any).

But you can sms anybody even none iphone users. no worries!

Go to the text aplication and text them.

You are not limited to texting other iphones at all.

i have an iPhone 4S, with iOS5 and just can't send messages SMS to other people,

when i called for help with my phone provider (TIM, from Brazil) the man said: "we're sorry, this is a problem with the phone, it just can send messages to other iPhones..

i am now choosing to sue among apple or the service provider..

sorry for the words, but i am really angry with this.. paying R$1900,00 (US$ 900,00) for a phone that can't send messages!!!!!
