search function not working

Hi

I am running Mac OS x V 10.7.5

I cannot use the search function in my Ical. I tried different thing I've seen on the net without success.

When I write something in the field, I have a box that open on the bottom of the screen with no information in it.

I do not know what to do since it is a function very important for my business.
