final cut pro and magic bullet

I am having issues with Final Cut pro and certain magic bullet plugins (Looks and pluraleyes).

every other plugin with magic bullet actually works well. the odd part is when i purchased this new macboom pro with mountain lion everything worked perfectly with no issues. then a month after i started using it, it began closing final cut pro 7 when trying to work with MB looks and now pluraleyes. is there something im missing? what is it i need to do? someone please help me! thanks!
