"no camera was found" appear, cannot download from Canon eos 50D

Hi,

I recently bought new Apple laptop and then download the Canon eos 50D software to my new mac laptop.

then for the first time, I tried to download pictures from camera to laptop. But it appears "no camera was found". it was never happened with my old TOSHIBA laptop.

Please help
