Since I've recently discovered that this awesome Wacom Bamboo Capture wasn't compatible to my iMac G5 (because Bamboo requires an Intel Processor), I
would like to find an equivalent.
Currently, updating to a newer Mac is out of the question. So, what do you guys suggest?

You could try the Wacom Intuos line of graphics tablets.
I just checked the specs and there is no limitation of just use on Mac Intel processors.
You can call or email Wacom to confirm if the current Intuos tablet line still functions with PowerPC Macs.
There doesn't appear to be a limitation listed in the Intuos specs on Wacoms's website.
