Upgrade iTunes again, or revert to the previous version of your library. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good.

I've got my old hardrive out of my old pc and am now using it as an external hardrive, but I haven't got a clue how to get anything up. Everything keeps asking for auth, my pics won't show, but more to the point, I can't get my iTunes to anywhere where there it is called iTunes library.itl. I have surched believe me, it's just not in there. I'm getting sick to death of this. Why can it not be simple. I can't play my iTunes even though my pc is auth, as my husband is on another user acc and uses his I get a stuip message that I have to wait 90days, my iPhone will not sync without me loosing all my music on there (which I no longer have) as it says I'm already logged into another pc or something like that. The bloody thing is dead. So basicly my iTunes is worthless. I can't do bugger all on it. I will never buy another apple product again! If I knew more than basics I may be able to do something, but these instructuions are not very user friendly to beginers. Please help me!!!!! 😠
