Any equivalent to MS Paint in Mac?

Hello to all,

I come from a windows background and am very familiar with the simple 'paint' application; I am searching for an equivalent app for my Mac. I have downloaded [free] 'paintbrush for Mac' from the internet but find that it does not have the tools which MS Paint has, and more importantly, I can work only with 2 colors...white an black. Can anyone point out to me any free download that allows me to work in color too?

FYI I do have Adobe photoshop but feel uncomfortable in trying to learn it! A personal 'irrational' dislike!

Hello, I mainly edit my photos using Preview as well as Instant Alpha from Keynote. You have quite a few options on these Mac programs that automatically come with the computer. Below are links to videos I have made that goes into a little more depth as to how to use these programs.

I hope this helps!

Hello Anuj. Dropped by just now to see your post dated 6th of Dec 2016 and I trust that the answer given in the next post has helped you. FYI I too am using this workflow: create my work in Paint, take a screenshot of the work, and do further edits using Preview. This workflow is better than when using Paint alone for adding text and other illustrations.

Regards and take care!
