My apple tv is showing as my iphon. How to fix this???

the atv2 and 3 don't show up in devices in itunes at all only as remote speakers
so where do you see it as being an iphone ?

I have an ATV2 and the tv screen is telling me to plug it into itunes. the white light is blinking really fast
