iTunes does not sync all photos from directories

I have all my pictures in different directories /folders/events. When I try to sync from my hard disk to my Iphone whether by all events or selective folders all the pictures are not synced to my IPhone. Resyncing is to avail. In addition the events that are synced to IPhone are not sorted by title/acending. It used to previously.
