MacBook Pro Retina Safari Fix
Hey All,
First time poster...thanks for making the site such a great place. Received a replacement MacBook Pro Retina and still have the same issues in Safari.
Here are two sample websites that look weird when I go to view:
http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/2012/10/12/iphone-5-troubles/1630389/
(Acts really weird when scrolling down to the bottom. By the way, I just happened to notice that the page had issues...nothing against the iPhone 5. I actually hope to purchase one soon.)
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8012443/Blues-have-Moses-offer-acc epted
(This one has a vertical line down the page. Credit: another poster on here provided this link...very appreciated.)
Has anyone found a fix? Here are Screen Shots:
Also, has anyone had something like this picture below, where the top bar turns black? Do you know of anything that helps?
Lastly, are there any fixes for the typing issue, where it starts looking weird as you type?
Some things I've tried:
-Turning off "Automatic Graphics Switching" in Energy Saver -- helps with the vertical line thing, but not with that USAToday.com site.
-Specifying "Never" for "Display Sleep" for both 'Battery' and 'Power Adapter' in Energy Saver -- didn't do anything.
I appreciate your help,
Ben
