Q: I have to restore my ipod but itunes can't connect through my broadband

itunes is telling me that I am not connected to the internet and it cannot connect with the server to restore my ipod. I am on the net as I have broadband and I uninstalled it and reinstalled it to see f that worked.

Hi there

The message reads "itunes could not contact the iPod update server because you are not connected to the internet". It the goes on to tell me to connect and retry the restore process.  I have a broadband connection which is fine so I don't understand why it won't restore.
