Q: MacBook A1181 OS Snow Leopard (fully updated)
constantly refuses connection to router which many other (WINDOWS) systems connect to easily. Frankly *** is it with Apple that it can't get this right? I have turned off IPv6 in settings, updated booted and rebooted the system. I have updated firmware in router and restarted it so many times my head is spinning!
Why wont the "Fing" (excuse my language but after 5 hours of sheer F'ing frustration with this system!!!!) What is the answer?
Why will it not connect and stay connected? Yes it has connected 2x and dropped shortly thereafter. I have been on phone to router provider to see if they know and NO they dont. Let me reiterate All other systems 5 all WINDOWS connect effortlessly... and stay CONNECTED.
I have disbled all security on router and still MacBook will not connect!
Error message "Connection timed out" *** is going on Apple? Ypu're just supposed to work AND YOU DONT!
Technical points NETGEAR ROUTER N150 - no othrer issues with connectivity or service
upload speeds on other systems 1-2Mbps
Download 14 -18 Mbps
Seriously ****** off with Apple, considering the size of your market you have more problems that Microsoft!
UPDATE: system keeps on asking for password time after time after time..... adnauseum I have tried enclosing the password in ASCII with "password" quotation marks but still no joy. Rebooted again still no joy....
