I have an Ibook G4...

and I'm pretty sure the power port is fried along with the battery, is this possible to replace? I really love it and it works great so there is no real reason to replace it other than I can no longer charge it or boot it. I appreciate any feedback! TIA djkitty467

Hello and welcome to the support community

Indeed the power port as you reffer to it can be replaced. It's called the DC inboard. If your feeling confidant in having ago yourself then here is a guide which could help you http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Installing-iBook-G4-14-Inch-1-42-GHz-DC-In-Board/726 /1

You would also need to order the part from somewhere, best shop around online. Make sure you order the right part for your iBook.

Best of luck
