I use Go Daddy for my email service and Mail as my email application on my Mac. In addition to having an Inbox, I create subfolders to move my incoming email after I have responded to them. For some reason, the emails end up back in my Inbox. Why?????

I use Go Daddy for my email service and Mail as my email application on my MacBook Pro with Retina Display. After I respond to emails in my Inbox, I move them into subfolders (i.e. business, personal, etc...). For over 3 months now, after I move the emails into a subfolder, they reappear in my Inbox. Although they re-appear as read, I becomes extremely frustrating not knowing which emails I have responded to and have to check my Sent folder to verify. This also happens on my iPhone 4S.

However, when I log into Go Daddy's webmail to check emails, I am able to move the emails from my Inbox into subfolders and they do not re-appear in my Inbox. This happened on my regular Mac Book Pro as well.

What do you recommend that I do?

Thanks.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
