Reconnect your iPod to iTunes, restore it, and then resync all of your music back over to it. Sounds like something was corrupted during the sync process.

Thank you, i did it without result .I did the 5 "r".The problem has became after i put the disk of start on my mac osx(version 10.4.11).Now,after the restoration, itunes writes the synchronising it's ok who can eject but 0 music on the ipod !(sorry for my english, i'm french ! ).
Are you running the latest version of iTunes?
Maybe try a low level reformat of the iPod's flash storage to see if that does any good. It's helped a few others.
