Hi, I have 2 iMacs and MacBook- bought and installed FCP X on new iMac (OS X 10.7.5 Lion). How do I install on other 2 (OS X 10.6.8)?
Do not want to buy more than one copy - I'm one user....
You can install it on as many computers as you own and control. Copy it from one machine to the other. Run software update for the additional content.
Just log into the App Store with the same Apple ID you bought FCP X with, and you can install it on all your Macs.
I have done it. But running FCP 7 simultaneously (until existing projects completed) Got error message when I tried to ope - aroun library missing content.
Duplicated, software update, restart.... still same message
It should work, but here is Apple's procedures for it:
You can't run the applications simultaneously. Which application is putting up the error message?

You can't run them at the same time, but they can be installed on the same system, running one at a time.
Thank you - not working on both at same time...
