Hi everyone, I have a problem with java plug-in.
Apple released the newest java update. After downloading and instaling the new Java, all my browsers had a failure with java plug-ins.
They are not working anymore and Java is installed. I don't know what to do.
The missing plug-in button appears and when I clicked this screen pops up !!
It seems java is not installed, BUT IT IS.
Well, I hope someone can help me with a solution.

Java is disabled by default. If you had previously enabled it, my guess is that it has been disabled following the update. See Using Java in Mac OS X for information about how to enable it, as well as reasons why you should only do so with some significant precautions. Java is a security nightmare!
Actually, I have to make a correction. Apparently, Apple made some changes that weren't documented in the knowledgebase article that I was looking at. This one gives the details:

So looks like you have to download a new Java plug-in, according to the directions in that article.
I tryed to reinstall the content. I downloaded the lastest java instalation from Apple and I got the same error. Missing plug-in.
You don't need to reinstall, you just need to download the Java plug-in for Safari. The instructions for doing that are in the support.apple.com article I referred you to.
