Actually, since Lion, PB hasn't worked. All I get is the spinning disk or a black screen in the image area. My previous images are there in the bottom row and can be brought up to the imagr area as usual. TIA

Make sure no other camera applications are running before you open Photobooth. Also, make sure you are using version 5.0 or later.
Note, Mac Pros only support Photobooth with cameras that already have the correct drivers. Macbook Pros can use their built-in cameras. Double check with your camera manufacturer if they have Lion or Mountain Lion drivers.
