How Do I Send a Meeting Invite Via iPhone?

How do I send out a meeting or Calendar invite on my iPhone 5?

The instructions at http://smallbusiness.chron.com/send-meeting-invite-via-iphone-54470.html don't seem to apply because there is no "Invitees" field.

I have an iPhone 5 out of the box, I added my contacts into it and I just want to send out a Calendar item to a few people from it, and there doesn't seem to be a way to do that.
