I cannot open PDFs with the .cfm file type. Any help?

I can open files with .pdf file type easily but cannot open files that say they are PDF but are .cfm type. Any help for this?

.cfm files are "Cold Fusion Markup" files, not PDF files. A PDF viewer cannot open them. Look here for some more information: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/filexc/f/cfmfile.htm


You might be able to open it in Safari, try it.

I couldn't figure out how to convert any file I couldn't download. 😟 SOOOO


I downloaded Adobe PDF and made it the default preview program and now I can download and open these .cfm files AND save them as PDF which opens easily on my iPad as well as my MacBook Air.


Thanks for your input however it helped get me headed in a direction I could understand and make work for me.
