Why don't events and contacts created in my iphone sync to ical and address book on my iMac? Events and contacts created in iCal do sync to my iphone. I am using 10.6.8, and iTunes 10.This didn't seem to work with the last version of itunes either. i am using the cable to connect the ipone to the computer and I sync manually

I highly recommend you install iCloud on both devices so you don't have to manually sync. This should resolve your issue.
I am concerned about my other software working with mountain lion so I don't want to upgrade my operating system if it will cost me several hundred dollars for new software.(not to mention weeks of aggravation in trying to get everything working properly) It should sync through itunes according to the user manual but if I can't figure out how to fix this bug, I guess I will not have a choice. Thanks for your reply
