Iphone Backup. Where are the files //MobileSync/Backup/?

I can not find the file MobileSync, I want to find the Backup file of my Iphone (I used ITunes to do the Backup), I have read in the Forum that the backups have to be in the next path ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/ but I can not find the file MobileSync

If this hile is hided, I do not know how turn off hide option of the folders.

I have a MacBook Pro

Operating System OSX Montain Lion (10.8.2)

I used to do the Backup Itunes 10.7

It is hidden:

Open Finder
Open the Utilities folder
Open Terminal
Copy and paste the following:

defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles YES

Press return
Now hold ‘alt’ on the keyboard and right click on the Finder icon
Click on Relaunch

Thanks wjosten, I saw the folder, but insede there are a folder and insede this folder there are a lot of files, whichone is the one that I have to select when I do the retauration?

Another question is: What do I have to do in order to left the hide option of the folders turned on?

To hide the files again:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles NO

Then re-launch Finder as described in my first post.

That's not how you restore from backup, & this database is not readable without software. The backup/backups you can use to restore from will be listed here: iTunes>Preferences>Devices.
