So, I installed Apple's Java update 1.6 + JRE 7u9 now applets crash on both Firefox and Safari!!!
Crash happens as soon as I click anywhere on the interface.. to make things even better, the update deletes Java Preferences application!!
Have Apple police decided to suspend our right to use applets altogether??
