I have an iphone 3gs and it does have the imessage feature on it, but I do not currently have a texting plan, does imessage still works if yes how? Do I just receieve it as a text message or what? I know you can decide where it could be recieved as and I put down my email, but how does the whole thing work? please help me out, thanks!

do you bother to "try" and find stuff for yourself? ever heard of forum search or google search?
iMessage...think free...Apple's messaging program...only works between iOS devices & Mac computers. Works over WiFi or Cellular data.
