Oct 17, 2012 4:12 PM in response to Jan in Cotoby Demo,I don't know or sure if the cover and the problem with Siri are related, but you can turn Siri off in Settings>General>Siri>Off. You can always turn it on again when you want to use it.
Phone covers and iPad covers have been know to cause weird issues on iDevices so there is a possibility that the cover has something to do with this. The only way to know for sure would be to remove the cover and see what happens without it.

Oct 17, 2012 4:53 PM in response to Demoby Jan in Coto,★HelpfulI am thinking that the headphones themselves may be the problem and will try a different pair tomorrow with my iPhone in a different case. Turning off Siri on a daily basis could also cause data loss on the Apple servers. Thanks for your help. Maybe I will need to get a different iPhone, or maybe the headphones themselves are causing this to occur. I had some problems occasionally with the music spread increasing after walking about an hour with my iPhone 4 which did not have Siri, and, indeed, this is also happening with my iPhone 5. Again, thanks for your help!
