Question

icloud backup notification window won't close on ipad and ipad doesn't show up on the computer

My third generation ipad hasn't been updated to icloud lately. It has been sending notices to that effect and I've been cancelling. As of yesterday though the notification won't close and I'm unable to do anything at all with the ipad including connect to the computer. I'd like to completely re-boot the ipad but can't get it to unfreeze.

This doesn't work for you? It usually does when this message locks up the iPad.

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons
