I want to add a second airport express to my existing airport express.

I want to extend the wireless range by adding a second AP to the main AP. I know I have to connect the 2 devices but which ports do I plug into on each express? I presently have a modem connected to the main AP and the other port connects to an ethernet switch for multiple devices. Thanks. Any other pearls of wisdom are appreciated.
