Kernel Panic everytime i startup.

Hi Guys,

i encounter kernel panic everytime my macbook pro startup, its a macbook pro 13 inch mid 2012 with mountain lion installed 10.8.2

Basically after i encounter the kernel panic after starting up from shutdown, i just need to power it off by holding power button and then power it back on and everything back to normal. But everysingle time i start my macbook i need to do this "task" to bypass the kernell panic.

So far i have tried:

- safeboot, removing all login items

- repairing disk permission.

none fixed the issue

Back up all data.

If you have more than one user account, you must be logged in as an administrator to carry out these instructions.

Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.

Triple-click the line below to select it, then drag or copy into the Terminal window — do not type — and press return:

sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions

You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. You don't need to post the warning. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command.

Wait a few minutes, then reboot and test. If you still get the panic, test again with all wired peripherals disconnected.

Hey Guys,

It happened again for some reason 😟 verifying disc and then running sudo touch seems to fix it temporarily..

The panics are different and were not caused by third-party software. The possibilities are (1) a damaged OS X installation; (2) a fault in a peripheral device, if any; (3) an internal hardware fault; and (4) an obscure bug in OS X.

You can rule out the first two possibilities by reinstalling the OS and testing with non-essential peripherals disconnected. Probably there will be no change. In that case, make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store to have the machine tested. You may have to leave it there for several days. There isn't much point in doing this unless you can reproduce the panic, or unless it happens often enough that it's likely to be repeated at the store. Otherwise you may be told that nothing is wrong.

Print the first page of the latest panic report and bring it with you.

Back up all data on the internal drive(s) before you hand over your computer to anyone. If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you know how to restore, and you have at least two independent backups.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.

*An SSD doesn't need to be zeroed.

I am getting similar crash on startup on my late 2010 MacBook Air, anyone have any ideas? I'm considering doing a format and reinstall at this point.
