Yeah, it looks like Apple changed the location of their Configurator files with the release of the new Apple Configurator 1.2. From my best guess just looking at it so far it looks like everything is now in ~/Library/Containers/. I would save that directory.

Yes, Apple Configurator 1.2 is now a sandboxed app, so its data files have moved to ~/Library/Containers/. I will request that article HT5194 be updated for the new version.
