Google Cal Invites Stop Showing in iCal

To all,

i get regular Google Cal invites and they used to go straight to iCal [or whatever tis called now... Calendar?] for acceptance. Now i notice they dont...

Any reason? has something changed? i'm now on Mountain Lion OS. Would that be it? im receiving mail via the Mac Mail app

MBP 15.2, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

Seems that mail will not forward any invites to my calendar. There seems to an issue with other posts on here.

i have re tried accepting invites in my mail by accepting in my iphone and it seems to accept ok, so why wont my laptop apps mail abnd calendar talk to each other?
