i purchased a new 12 core mac pro it comes with mountain lion
bad reviews on final cut 10 ...does final cut 7 (studio 3) work on this machine?
the purchase price is steep and i want to know before i buy

Threads I found in the Final Cut forum indicate no problems with FCS3 and Mountain Lion, but you might want to scan that forum for other comments before you decide just in case there are issues that I've missed spotting.

You might also want to peruse the Final Cut Pro X forum to make sure that any issues you've seen reported are truly issues, not just overreactions, and if so haven't already been corrected or would be such that they won't affect your use.
