why cant i transfer my apps from iTunes to iPod?

Do you have restrictions set up on the iPod that prevents you from being able to install apps? To check, head to Settings -> General -> Restrictions.

Are you syncing the iPod with the same iTunes library you normally sync it with? Is the library authorize to play and sync your purchases? To check, head to Store -> Authorize this Computer and enter your Apple ID credentials that were used to purchase the apps that are stored in your library.

I have no restrictions set up on the ipod involving apps or itunes. I originally downloaded an app from itunes on my computer because I don't have wifi on my Ipod and now I need to download the app from my computer onto my ipod.
