My podcast is not searchable anymore!

I currently produce my podcast with podbean. I have had this podcast for over a year and have never had any problems with iTunes before until recently when I discovered that it did not show up any more under search. I have contacted podbean and they told me it was an iTunes issue and to deal with them, and iTunes told me I have to go in and change my title and my feed with podbean, then podbean said I cant change the feed... Anyone know what to do?

I'm afraid it looks as if your podcast has been removed from the Store. Without being able to look at the feed it's not possible even to guess why this should be so, though possible reasons for removal include unacceptable content, strong or sexual language when no 'explicit' tag is set, failure of the feed to work, and violation of other people' copyrights

Your only option is probably to start over, submitting it as a new podcast, but you will need to change the title slightly (or if Podbean won't let you, start an entirely new podcast).

I have the same problem as of today, and as a warning to anyone considering doing a podcast, avoid podbean.com like the plague. Thier tech support and customer service is absolutely terrible. I've had months of problems witih statistics not being tracked correctly and other back end issues with terrible customer service from people who obviously don't actually speak english, and now the actual distribution is messed up. Have you been able to get things working again? My feed, for anyone who can help, is: http://samuraiarchives.podbean.com/feed/

This feed is created and maintained by podbean.com, to whom I pay a monthly fee to handle this, so I don't feel like there can be a very good reason why there is an issue now.

Your feed is fine: it can be subscribed to manually in the iTunes application, so it's not a problem PodBean are causing.

Searching on the title produces no results. You were given a URL for the Store page in the email you received when your podcast was accepted: presumably this doesn't work either?

If it doesn't, then it looks as if your podcast has been removed from the Store. There is no obvious reason why this should be the case - it's unlikely any of the objections I listed above would apply - so I can only suggest you email them at podcasts 'at' apple.com.

Well, aside from a long history of problems I've had with them, the fact that podbean took 24 hours to get back to me, and then to basically just say "everything looks ok" without any options, ideas, or opinons, tells me they have a problem. But your recommedation to contact apple solved the problem - thanks!
