Whenever I go on software update, I have an update pending for, "Nyan Cat: Lost in Space" even though I have never downloaded this app nor heard of it.

The Apple Support Communities are an international user to user technical support forum. As a man from Mexico, Spanish is my native tongue. I do not speak English very well, however, I do write in English with the aid of the Mac OS X spelling and grammar checks. I also live in a culture perhaps very very different from your own. When offering advice in the ASC, my comments are not meant to be anything more than helpful and certainly not to be taken as insults.
What is the Apple ID connected with this update?
I'm pretty sure it's going to be trippy8bit@gmail.com. But I'm missing the main app's that this is associated with in my logbook unfortunately.
Would be nice if we could track it down in this case.
I have this too. Attributed to trippy8bit@gmail.com. That's not me. How do I make this go away?
It is caused by a pirated app. Do a search of the MAS forum for "pirated app" and follow the directions to find and delete a pirated app.
