The Contacts app has forgotten what to do with Groups.

Instead of narrowing the number of contacts to make it easier to choose, the app now wants me to choose a group so it can place a check mark by it, and then I have to choose "done" to proceed. The members of the group are never shown. They used to show, of course.

this is not a major problem but I am curious to know what went wrong.
