how to sync contacts from blackberry to iphone5. I am planning to switch from blackberry to iPhone. Please help
You will need to get the Blackberry contacts to a supported application on the computer, or cloud. You will be able to get them to the phone via iTunes after that.
Thanks for replying back my friend. I've tried to syn contacts from Black Berry Desktop Manager to Address book but no luck. I've also tried syncing contacts from Microsoft Outlook too but no luck. Please suggest any application.

For the Mac, Address book and Outlook are both supported for syncing contacts from the computer to the iPhone. I believe the BB Desktop manager allows you to export your contacts as vcards, and if so, you should then be able to import them to Addrress Book or Outlook either one. After they are in one of those applications, you can sync them to the phone via iTunes or iCloud.
If anyone is still struggling with this problem for the iphone 5 I just figured out how to fix it! it wasn’t easy because google sync doesn’t work on a blackberry anymore and outlook doesn’t help if you don’t got it so I had to go the long way and spend 2hrs of my time figuring it out while the actual solution only takes 5 mins!
So I downloaded an app called "intouchapp" there’s other apps like this one but this is the only one that’s available on both blackberry and iOS so its the one I used and it worked.
1) Download the app on your blackberry and sign-up for an account i used an email i barely use and its free so it was all quick and easy
2) Sync your contacts on your blackberry using the app
3) Download the same app this time on your iPhone and use the same log-in details as you used when you signed up on your blackberry
4) Sync contacts again and press download and... that’s it! all your contacts are now on your new iPhone.

I think this also works for android but i havent tried it yet.
Alisaab you are a genius. This was looking like a nightmare cos I use the phone for work and I had 1300+ contacts to transfer.
Just wanted to know will the contacts remain in the phone if I delete the app once contacts are downloaded. Don't want to risk it without knowing for sure
